Seeking to recreate the sound of a Joyo American Pedal

I found it quite interesting to see how a $30 pedal sounds like through a $30,000 console.  To be honest, I did not pay that much for this console and it's a bit hard to convert the price from back in the 1990's to todays money using currency, but there are mathematical ways to get to $30,000 :-).

However, those pedals sound surprisingly good when you want to get some Twin oder Deluxe'ish tones. And the built-in analog cabinet emulation is the best that I've ever heard. When I am playing with through this pedal, I am constantly forgetting that I am not playing through a real amp nor a real cabinet.

    WHAT TO EXPECT TONE-WISE?

The tones that I liked range from a Twin (voice at 1) to a Deluxe (voice at 4). I profiled both a clean (drive at 4, but the KPA still recognized it as a clean amp) and a breakup tone (drive at 7) at different tone settings.

    WHAT GEAR HAS BEEN USED?

All profiles were made using the following gear:

    • Joyo American pedal

    • Soundtracs Megas 32-16-2 console

    • All analog signal chain, no digital gear (besides the KPA) involved.

    WHAT PROFILES DO I GET?

You get 9 studio profiles. This document contains a list of all the profiles in this pack.
